Evolve Houston is more than an incubator for ideas; we drive solutions shaped by the communities that know the problems best. Through our Community Connector Program, we bridge Houston’s neighborhoods with the resources they need to thrive.
What began as a grassroots idea from a handful of Houstonians to help seniors in Third Ward access essential services has grown into a citywide effort, helping seniors reach appointments, children get to school, and families access fresh food and necessities. The Community Connector service strengthens first- and last-mile connections by linking residents directly to METRO’s transit network, ensuring that every Houstonian has access to Safe, Clean, Reliable and Accessible transportation options.
Our work goes beyond mobility. It is about practical, low-cost, solutions to real problems. Every mile traveled tells a story of progress and partnership, proving that Houston moves forward when we move together.
The Experiment That Succeeded Because of the Community
