1. What app do I need to download to book a ride?
Download Ride Circuit – available via the App Store (iOS devices) and Google Play Store (Android users).
2. Can I bring my kids, friends, and family?
Absolutely! This service is open to everyone and perfect for group rides.
3. How long will the shuttle wait when I request a ride?
The shuttle will wait for up to 3 minutes after arriving. The driver will also reach out to the individual who scheduled the ride via phone once they arrive at your pick-up location.
4. What is an Electric Vehicle (EV) Microtransit Shuttle?
An EV Microtransit Shuttle is a small, low-speed, electric vehicle designed for shared, on-demand transportation. It typically operates on short-distance routes, providing a sustainable and efficient transit option for communities.
5. How does the shuttle service work?
The service allows users to request a ride via the Ride Circuit mobile app. Once you request a ride, the shuttle will pick you up and drop you off within the designated service area.
6. What are the benefits of using an electric shuttle?
EV shuttles are environmentally friendly, producing zero emissions. They help reduce traffic congestion, improve air quality, and offer a quieter, smoother ride compared to gas-powered vehicles.
7. What are the days and operating hours of the shuttle service?
Downtown/EaDo (East Downtown) operating hours are 7 am - 7 pm / Monday - Friday.
Third and Second Ward operating hours are 7 am - 5 pm / Monday - Friday.
8. How many passengers can the EV shuttle accommodate?
The EV microtransit shuttle typically accommodates up to 5 passengers, and you can reserve up to 3 seats when booking.
9. Can I track the shuttle in real time?
Yes! The Ride Circuit app offers real-time tracking, so you can see the shuttle’s current location and estimated arrival times. Often the shuttle driver will reach out via a phone call upon arrival.
10. What service areas does the shuttle cover?
Currently, the service operates in Downtown, EaDo (East Downtown), Third and Second Ward neighborhoods.
11. How can I provide feedback about the shuttle service?
You can provide feedback directly through the Ride Circuit app after your ride. We encourage all riders to rate and leave feedback to help us continually improve the service for the community.

12. Is the service free or is there a fare?
The service is currently free of charge for riders. Any future changes to fare structures will be communicated through the app.
13. Can I bring pets on board?
Yes, service animals are always welcome. However, it’s preferred that all other pets do not board due to the shuttle space and potential proximity to other passengers.
14. Are the microtransit shuttles ADA-accessible?
Most canes, compact wheelchairs, and walker devices that can be folded can fit next to passengers. However, our micro transit vehicles are not ADA-accessible to accommodate larger, electric wheelchairs. We're working to expand access and value all requests.
